What type boiler do you have?

While the general purpose of overfire air will not change (complete the combustion process), the reason it was used will. For example, in a wall burner type boiler overfire air may be incorporated for NOx control, while in a stoker fired boiler the overfire air is provided a high pressure for better penetration into the furnace for more complete combustion.
: what is the function of overfire air
