Yes, the chemical treatment does add to the TDS,
as you have stated, but I think I phrased my question
badly.
What I meant to ask was, "Is TDS required in the
boiler water" ? Meaning, if you used say, RO Water
to feed your boiler, would this cause a problem ?
You would still have some TDS in your boiler water,
but it would only be from the chemical treatment.
I guess what I mean is, is some level of TDS acutally
required in the boiler water ? Again, assuming you could
actually maintain it at 0 TDS.
