: want to know if some other technicians have problematics raypack boilers.the kind of trouble; burners tray warped, burned and cracked. lower frame base easy to broke (like glass),inside front panel changed color(by overheating)and burners fall in the bottom of the boiler because of the burners tray loosing is solidity.this situation is valid for all nine tube gas design raypack boilers i inspected my self for my customers. chimney ok air intake ok gas pressure before and after gas valve ok all named plate informations respected. no cycling. heat exchanger in perfect shape, clean.draft in the chimney ok. minimum return water ok no condensation.those anomalies appear after two months only,of course, the company told me:ONLY YOU HAVE THAT PROBLEM... i'm a gas inspector and imagine how i feel when i have to condamned a boiler only two months old. Please dont tell me to removed the baffles from the heat exchanger, that's what the plumbers did , it's legal , it's solved the bad effects but the gas bill's total seem to be a serial number. Please help, even just to told me that i'm not alone. sorry for my english.

Every time I've seen this in a copper fin tube design there was a draft problem. put the deflectors back in and install an induction fan interlocked with the burner. It will save a lot of headaches
