Without looking it up, I think 140*F is the bare minimum on #2 oil, so to make sure that the flue gas gets up the stack and out without condensing, you're probably looking at something like 200*F. The manufacturer of the economizer should be able to provide you with some information.
If there's no 3 way valve, is there a damper that will allow some or all of the flue gas to bypass the economizer to prevent flue gas condensation?
