I used to know a way to estimate the steam flow in a given boiler room with one boiler running by assuming the Natural Gas and/or fuel oil reading was accurate.
With that reading we could estimate the approximate steam flow for a 24 hour period, so we could set the steam and water meters for the boiler. Does anybody know that bball park formula. I've forgotten...Thanks in advance: Dan
