: thanx..........

Zaib,

If deposits in the water tubes of your boiler is becoming a regular thing. There is surely something wrong with the quality of your boiler feed water and the management of the boiler water quality. If water quality is managed up to its standards there is no necessity for acid treating of tubes. So first thing to do look for a good chemical treatment and service program. Make sure the water qualities are whiting the following limits :

norm unit Standards for
1000 psi 225psi
PA mg/l 20-70 66-130
MA mg/l 30-100 100-200
CL mg/l <30 <30
SiO ppm <6 <30
SO3 mg/l 10-40
SO4 mg/l 10-15 30-60
PO4 mg/l 10-15 30-60
Conductivity mS 400 400-450
PH - 9.2-10.2 9.8-10.6
