have to replace my steam boiler.
1) Has anyone seen a comparison of different brands?
I've been offered bryant, ithaca, pennco
2) Contractors base btu on the number of columns/sections of radiators. Is that enough? I've seen software that ignores radiators, but uses room size, # of windows, ambient temperature, etc.
3) what about warranty? bryant covers boiler section for 20 years, other parts for as little as one year. Any commnents?
