Does anybody knows which is the best way to drain condensate from an elevated (15 ft) 8 in. steam pipe, glass fiber insulated, subject to freeze conditions (-1 deg F); the condensate return line is also insulated and elevated at the same level as the steam pipe. The trap stations should be accessible for checking and maintenance. I think steam tracing would have to be provided and the trap stations dropped down for accessing at earth level; however any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
