Let me see if I've got this right. By modifying a "steam cleaner" I'm going to get water at 300 F. It won't be steam because it's under very high pressure from the feed pump. When I release this water to the atmosphere it's going to flash into steam, but in doing so will cool down considerably due to it's enthalpy. My question is this; before losses to the surroundings, what temperature will the steam be?
