In all my years of operation of boilers I have come up with a great way to insure your injection of sulfite in D.A doe's not become plugged.First the reason they plug up is the tank manufacturer and the chemical co want you to put the injection in to the side of tank.(problem here is there is no flow in the tank at the injection point)Solution is to install a tee in your feed water recirculating line that should be recirculating back to the D.A.In the tee install your injector, the flow running past the end of injector will keep the end clean, and it will never plug again.
