It sounds as if your steam pressure is dropping due to over demand and your boiler kicks out due to low level, high fuel pressure, or any number of reasons. Try a recorder to plot steam pressure against time of trip or dedicate a man to observing if the boiler trips before or after steam pressure starts to fall. If this is the cause,(I bet it is)either use a back pressure regulator or buy a watertube boiler capable of meeting your load swings.
