: Direct & allocate SMD workforce on a daily basis; setup, schedule and ensure compliance for overtime, III-F, Zone and Vacation assignments. Provide emergent response to client requests for SMD services, resources and tooling on a 24/7 bases. Provide leadership and insight to clients on SMD’s skill set and schedule. Hire and maintain a temporary work force to assist SMD during peak demands. Responsible for daily supervision, monitoring, coaching and discipline of employees to ensure a productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures and collective bargaining agreements. Responsible to conduct assessments analysis, implementation, evaluation and coordination of all technical training for the SMD craft. Provide direction and oversight in the SMD warehouse including equipment purchase, repair and delivery. Communicate regularly with Station Planners and Schedulers to ensure short & long-term utilization and maximize SMD’s capabilities for corrective and preventive maintenance, planned and unplanned outages. Participate in annual business planning for resource allocation and other budgeting functions to ensure that the resources necessary to manage the workforce are secured and available. Maintain relations with GBU, Transmission, Underground, NBU and Fossil Power. Essential: BS Degree in Engineering or 10 years of extensive supervisory experience in Power Plant operations and/or maintenance.Resource allocation and SAP skills.
