They are currently recruiting for a Combustion Engineer (Senior/Principal). : The ideal candidate will have knowledge & experience in the following areas: : + Major principles of combustion and low NOx combustion modification technologies : + Hands on calculation of NOx formation in large Utility Power boilers : + Boiler furnace design principles : + Design of Wall, Corner & downshot firing arrangements : + Understanding of fuel-related boiler design impact : + Calculation and determination of risk assessment and guarantee statement for combustion system on utility power boilers : + Design of combustion equipment including : - Large Low NOx coal burners : - Application of coal/oil & gas design codes including NFPA : - Development of new burner equipment including specification of combustion test rig data requirements and analysis of data. : - Fuel supply system design for coal, oil & gas : - Excellent communication skills and fluent English : Essentially candidates will need: : + Degree qualification in Engineering : + Chartered status would be advantageous : + Significant experience of front-end design of steam-raising power plants
