Burnham KV86 removing rear tankless coil ?

I have a Burnham KV86 boiler hot water with a leaking tankless coil (I have a electric water heater instead) and I want to remove it and replace it with a blank plate and new gasket there is also a Limit Honeywell L4006A2015 that will also be removed . do I have to change the aquastat in the front that the L4006A2015 connects to? or is there a way to bypass it and or a setting to deactivate the call for hot water to the aquastat?
