Another try on this (forget about the solar for now):
I'm looking to efficiently heat 4, 900 square foot apartments with a single mod/con boiler, indirect h2o set up. I'm in Jersey City, NJ. The apartments will be well insulated, new windows, doors.
Can anyone recommend a product / basic design idea as a starting off point in my review of possible contractors? One basic question I have: in mod/con installation is it more efficient to go for lower water temps for baseboard by extending it? And if so, is there another product (panel rads, radiant panels etc) that might give me a less costly operation (if more costly install)?
I'm not too confident in the plumbers I've talked to so far..
