Solar is a specialty, not always under a plumbing/heating business; more often under an HVAC company with less experience in hot water heat.
You need some luck in picking a trained company with wide experience in plumbing/heating/HVAC/solar.
Solar specialty companies are often salesmen who job out the actual work to several contractors.
