Just looking for some advice for any folks out their familiar with the EK-1 System 2000 boiler. We just got one installed to replace our old Burnham cast iron boiler. 1200 sf house, baseboard heat. Wondering whether on not to call the installers back, because it seems to heat the house really slow. The burner comes on fine, temp rises to 190 and up to 180 on the return, pipes get hot, but the heat coming from the baseboards seems low-grade compared to our old boiler. We're sure it takes hours longer to bring the house up to temp compared to the old boiler. Could it be air in the lines, or does the low mass of the system 2000 just not heat like an old cast iron? Thanks for any reply!
Mike.
