Do I need a rust inhibitor and if so how much?

I have a Weil Mclain gas boiler.

Model: CG-6
Year: 1987
Series: 9
BTU: 175,000
Water, MBH 124

I had to empty the system of all the water so I could replace the pressure relief valve. Can anyone tell me if I need a rust inhibitor and if so how much?
