Replacing 20+ year old Valiant oil/water burner. Procured (3) or so proposals. Two pitching Burnham (v8 or MPO147) or Buderus G115/34. The other pitching Peerless WBV-4. Any recommendations or slants one way or the other? Regarding the indirect water tank, they are recommending Amtrol or Bock. Any comments? Also, should I be thinking electric hot water -vs- oil for $$ savings? I'm kinda leary of the Burnham's after reading some of the posts regarding the V7 series and seeing Burnham turn their back. Is Peerless good quality? or is it really a lower standard compared to Buderus?
