I have an oil fired hot water heater controlled by a Honeywell L4103A aquastat which must be adjusted, for legal reasons, so that the temperature at the tap does not exceed 110 degrees. The scale wheel has a tab which prevents adjustment below a certain point. At this point the temperature is still about 10 degrees too high. Is there a way to reset this scale wheel so as to allow a lower setting to be achieved? Given the stated range of the device this would seem to be possible. Thank you for any help you can give.
