It is normal - especially if you have the hand valve to the pressure reducing valve line that feeds and fills the hot water heating system and there is a slight drip so fresh water with its air and oxygen gets into the supposedly sealed system. Fix all leaks and eventually a sealed system gets rid of all its air.
