Unfortunately, I did that, and it did not go away. I raised the system pressure to 25 and even shut off the second stage burner. The humming/resonance starts as soon as the burner fires and lasts as long as the burner is running. When it used to flash before the repipe, it would take a while for the noise to start (until the water temp got to like 170 or so). Now, the noise starts immediately. Could this be either foaming or scale? I sent a sample of the fluid to Noble Co for analysis.
