Hi I have an oil fired Weil-McClean steam boiler with tankless hot water heater. The level in the sight gague is increasing over time. I closed the valve for the auto-fill and still the level is rising. I assume the issue is with a leak in the heat exchanger for the hot water. I cannot find a schematic of the inside of the boiler, wondering how big a problem this is. Is it a simple coil replacement or could it be more complicated serious. I would like to be more educated before I call a service provider. Model 68 v boiler. Installed about 1984 by previous owner of the house.
Thanks,
Mike
