I had a guy come give me a price on replacing my hot water boiler. I'm interested in a high efficiency model, but the guy was down on them. He claimed the extra gadgets on high efficiency models (condenser, etc.) only break down after 5-6 years, and any savings in fuel are paid out in repairs. He recommends a run of the mill Burnham Series II. I'm sure it's a good boiler and will last, but it's only about 80% efficient. Any comments? Thanks.
