I'm looking for opinion on the conversion of a gas-fired boiler (for a one pipe steam system) to an oil-fired boiler.

Is one better than the other? Pros? Cons?

My gas-fired boiler is at least 10 years old and I live in the Philly PA suburbs and am sick of getting sucked dry for heating bills from PECO. I would think that at least by using oil, I can shop around for better pricing.
