The CH pressure on our Worcester Bosh 240 combi boiler seems to be staying at about 3 bar regardless of whether or not the CH is running. I phoned WB and they suggested reducing it by bleeding the nearest radiator which I did, reducing it to normal (1.5). However, after about 15 mins the pressure (with CH off) returned to 3 bar. I suspect that it may be a filler loop i.e. leaking valve. It happend just after I had topped up the system with a short burst and was wondering if some grit or similar was preventing a proper seal. I have tried draining and refilling to try and move any obstruction but with no luck. Due to cold weather, don't want to remove anything until I know that the plumbing shop is open for spares. System is working otherwise ok. Any advice greatly appreciated.
