Hi & an advance thanks to all in this great forum.
I need to relocate the expansion tank & circulators (watts et30 + 2 B&G red foxes) coming off a utica starfireIII 5200 where the 2" supply is right above the Honeywell 8124 unit (into the coil)
However, I'm not sure what's kosher here:
1. Is it o.k to have a supply pipe coming over vent/flue to bring the circulators to the back of the unit?
2. I can leave them up front, but I'm nervous about having all those threads above the honeywell unit and burner controls - I'd prefer to have the minimum piping around them. I can extend the whole thing out about 18inches, leaving about 16"+18" = 34" from the boiler, but will that length affect the flow performance and air removal?
3. Does the expansion tank have to be a certain height above the boiler top?
Again, thanks in advance
