I have a 30+- yr old Peerless nat gas steam boiler that vents to a chimney in my basement. I was going to replace it with a WM EG45-s-pidn. Do I have other nat gas options for boilers that are more efficient? In other words, if I'm using an open flue boiler, can I change it to balanced flue or a Condensing boiler? If I can does it make sense to change or am I better off with the same type I have now?
Thanks.
