I am converting my old ci radiators from one pipe steam to hot water. someone told me to get new radiators, as the plug cannot be removed from the radiator, because they are "cast". Someone else told me it can be sawed out because it is "hollowed" inside, and then can be notched and cut or unscrewed out. I need to know prior to starting, as this will effect my cost estimate to get this work done in my hosue. Any info would be helpful. Can these things be removed with a sawzall?
