You can set the temperature back manually or with a setback thermostat. It might have to be timed to set the temperature up an hour before the time you want to be comfortable. You can also start the set-back an hour earlier at night.
It will save some money doing so, but not a great deal. The hot water system is better than 10 percent more efficient than a furnace system of the same efficiency due to less piping loss than ductwork losses.
