Background:
Hot water Boiler system at least 30 years old
My current aquastat relay has a low and high limit to turn on/off the circulator pump. Should the circulator pump run the whole time the thermostat calls for heat or should I continue using the current aquastat relay with the Low and High limits.
I notice that the radiators in the front half of the house get good heat without the pump on. The back half of the house will not unless the pump kicks on. Put once the pump kicks on the radiators in the front half of the house cool down.
If the pump should run continuously when the thermostat calls for heat what relay should I look into getting.
