That's a big tank and you might be at the limit in size of an indoor tank. You must keep the fill and vent going outdoors. In general it's a good idea, keeping moisture off the tank will extand it's life and the warmer conditions of a garage will keep the #2 oil from gelling in cold weather. Just make sure the tank is not in direct line of fire from a car without added protection.
