Gas furnace ..replaced ignition module,transformer,T-stat and line

opps hit the wrong keyy,sorry for the double post.
getting back..I've cleaned the furnace replaced the filter,oiled the fan motor and adjusted the points.My problem is that the t-stat calls for heat but the furnace does not always ignite.I have to go to the stat,either reset the limit ,or turn off the furnace and restart and it kicks in,some times with a slight explosion.Any suggestions?
