My circulating pump assembly has finally given out. It leaks in a few places and the coupler disintegrated this morning. It is obvious I need to replace it all but I had been putting it off until now that I have to... My question is should I just replace the entire assembly with a selfcontained circulator pump instead of replacing all the pieces (motor, bearing assembly, pump)? It seems like a much more cost effective solution then getting all the individual pieces.
My boiler is a Crane and I have 3 zones (with cast baseboards) plus I heat my hot water with it.
