I'm having a new Weil-McLain EG65PIDN steam boiler installed, replacing a very old boiler that has gone to boiler heaven. My installer offers "Optional Work"--- a "low pressure vapor stat control in order to improve operating efficiency." He states it will pay for itself in the first year by energy savings. He charges $500 for it. Any idea if this is worth it, and how it works (He's explained several times and I don't understand it.) Thanks
