Ideally your boiler should shut off for 5-10 minutes each hour on the coldest day you can expect. If that would have been at .75gph of oil, your gas size would be .75gal/hr x 136,000Btu/gal (many use 140k) = 102,000Btu firing rate. Assuming about the same efficiency of the boilers, or x old (eff/new eff).
