I'm not sure yet what to think. I didn't want to spend $ on something without knowing if it would work so when the domestic water coil in our boiler was so cloged we couldn't get a shower I took a stack of salvaged magnets, duct taped them to the elbow on the in side (my acid pump was worn out so I figured I had nothing to lose). Within a week I heard no more complaints of not enough hot water and I didn't do anything but stick the magnets on. Over a year has gone by and I still have not had to clean the coil (I had to clean it with acid every 12-15 months at least before). Why? I don't know. Do I care how it works? Though I'm curious, no.
